Canon de 27cm Mle 1870
Used in battleships and coast defenses c.1870~1918. 274mm caliber 216kg shells, 434m/s muzzle velocity giving it an estimated 300mm of penetration in wrought iron armor at combat range, breech-loading single shot. France was one of the first countries to adopt an airship for military use. The first one being Patrie, built in 1906. It crashed about a ear later, in November of 1907.
Schilt P4 flamethrower
Manufactured c.1917-18 based on the previous Portable series started in 1915.
8L capacity gasoline tank, 10-12m effective range, 5mn long fuse, spring-loaded lever trigger.
A much more bulky design than its German counterpart, but with a very sexy lance. The P series was derived from the larger static Schilt No1 and No2 flamethrowers.

German U-boat U-155, with its main gun. Unlike in the Second World War, submarines during the Great War could not stay underwater for very long. They relied more on their main guns than torpedoes to sink ships.
