The principal version of the Toldi to see production was the Nimrod. Although based on a Swedish 40mm antiaircraft vehicle,
the Honved regarded the Nimrod as a dual-role weapon with excellent antitank potential.
By the time it saw widespread service, as in this view of a battery in Galicia in April 1944, it was hopelessly obsolete in the antitank role.
