Messerschmitt Me 163B “Komet” (VD+ER). This was the 8th prototype aircraft of the Me 163B. The Komet was a short-range rocket interceptor introduced in late 1944. It had a phenomenal rate of climb and speed but only a few minutes flight duration at full power.
