Angehöriger (Askari ethny) of the Freikorps Lettow-Vorbeck in München, May 1919. This man was the personal driver of Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck, a brilliant colonial officer who served most of his time in African colonial wars. As a traditionalist, he despised Hitler and the NSDAP and retired from the army as a general before WW2, a war that would eventually took his two sons away.
